What is the CIV Toolkit?
CIV Toolkit is a library written in C that provides collection of computational intelligence and voice processing algorithms such as neural networks, genetic algorithms, nature inspired optimization algorithms, hidden Markov models. The library is primarily developed for the Cell Broadband Engine with the aim to simplify the development of AI based applications on this hardware platform. The algorithms may run on a single SPE by using SIMD based parallelism as well as they may be distributed over multiple cooperating SPEs.
When the CIV Toolkit project was started?
The CIV Tookit was started at 1.1.2007 as an IBM Facultty Award supported project.
When the CIV Toolkit will be ready for download?
Version 0.2.0 is available on the donwload page
Who develops the CIV Toolkit?
Developers of the CIV Toolkit are students, Ph.D. students and professors of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague. The developers closely cooperates with specialist from IBM Czech Republic.
